Sika lead the way in lightweight model board development. SikaBlock? M330 & M440
Sika® lead the way in lightweight model board development. SikaBlock® M330 & M440, lightweight boards, with exceptional quality characteristics.
John Burn is pleased to announce the arrival of the SikaBlock® M330 & M440 boards. Set to raise the standard higher than it has ever been, Sika® have been at the forefront of polyurethane (PUR) model processing technology and with the introduction of two new boards continue the trend to offer the industry weight reductions, improved milling performance, less dust and a far superior surface finish than it’s nearest competitor.
With the M300 & M450 boards out performing all of their nearest rivals, Sika® aim to raise the bar yet again.
In an increasingly competitive market it is all important to stay ahead of the game and these two new members of the SikaBlock® PUR board range do just that. The key to producing high quality prototypes, models and moulds is excellent machining characteristics, surface finish and stability. The M330 & M440 boards have all of these and the fact that they are lighter give a number of benefits it terms of manoeuvrability, transport and machining speed. Traditionally customers have looked at density to determine quality; however customer testing has proven this has all changed with the M330 and M440 boards. This new superior quality surface finish combined with reduced weight is a winning combination.
All these aspects along with M330’s larger block size of 2000 x 1000 x 100mm means that high quality, larger cubing models are now feasible with excellent results.
“The fact that Sika are continually innovating makes them the ideal partner to work with” says Brian Lang, Managing Director.
