Babcock Composites Technology… Our primary facility, at Devonport Royal Dockyard in Plymouth, includes 1600m2 of workshop and is supported with dedicated materials handling, storage and distribution for all resins, cores and reinforcements.
We have fully trained and experienced technicians undertaking all types of consolidation processes, such as prepreg and vacuum infusion and a dedicated 18m x 5m x 3m oven for post curing activities. All work is undertaken in accordance with an approved Quality Assurance System (LRQA) to ISO:9001 2008 and TickIT.

Bentley Creative Chemical’s new vacuum bagging system features “instant” custom made silicone bags that are created using either spray-on or brush-on silicone. The new silicone, which is completely neutral and leaves no footprint at all, creates bags that can be used over and over again. The process is much faster, cheaper and greener than the traditional methods widely used in aerospace, automotive and marine composite moulding.
Bentley Chemicals, who have been at the forefront of moulding and casting technology since 1978, will be demonstrating the new vacuum bagging system on Stand 940 at the Composites Engineering Show.
