M. Wright & Sons
3DS is the carbon reinforcement project being developed by M Wright and Sons, technical weavers of engineered textile structures designed for integration within high technology, composite specific applications. The Company have commissioned a bespoke CNC loom with the capability to weave innovative 3 dimensional, near net shaped, structural performs. M Wright and Sons will be exhibiting a range of 2½ and 3D structures along with 2D reinforcement tapes and tubes in carbon fibre, glass and basalt as well as showcasing its novel unidirectional ‘scaffold weave’ reinforcement tapes. The Company have also developed the capability to weave ceramic fibre and will be showing 3D structures for the reinforcement of ceramic matrix composites.
